The Coaching Plan:Assessment is made through interviews with the manager (and supervisor, if relevant) and challenges are identified. Assessment tools are used, if indicated. Together, we clearly define the goals, strengths and competencies that will provide excellence in your situation. Skills are augmented, such as emotional maturity, capacity to relate to diverse individual styles, congruence with core culture, capacity to prioritize, manage time, delegate, and empower, claiming one’s own talents. Outcomes and metrics are clearly stated. The plan is implemented with ongoing support and accountability. Incremental steps are outlined, in order to build strengths in broad areas of effectiveness. Coaching is timed according to the needs of the organization, as well as the leader’s needs. Typically 3 months to 1 year. The length of coaching sessions and frequency are contracted in advance.
